Patrick's PALS exists to support FRAXA's efforts to fund research to find a cure for Fragile X.  Our 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament is a special day, full of spirit and goodwill! But Patrick's PALS is more than just a one-day event.  Fundraising is a year-round effort, and many of our most devoted supporters/contributors have never stepped on the basketball courts.

Beginning the day after the previous year's tournament ends, planning is under way to make the next edition of Patrick's PALS better then the one it precedes! Mailings are created, networking is expanded and awareness is promoted.

And on May 31, 2014, with the gym full of supporters and Patrick's PALS XVIII at its' apex Fragile X, the most common inherited form of mental retardation and the most common cause of autism, will still be affecting 1 in 4000 males and 1 in 6-8000 females worldwide.

We need your support!

FRAXA... A Non-Profit Organization

FRAXA funds grants and fellowships at universities all over the world. They have funded more than $19 million dollars in top-notch science. FRAXA's management expenses have always been just 4% or less of income, as they have just one full-time staff, three part time staff, and hundreds of volunteer parents. Since FRAXA was founded, the Fragile X field has grown tremendously, due in large part to their grass-roots efforts. FRAXA's 501c3 tax-exempt status can be viewed by clicking on the the following link:
